I always love to see clash of colors. That’s why I love flowers; they came in soo many colors and each of them has their own beauty.
Like us humans. We came with different races, different skin colors, different tastes in food or music or movie or book and more important, different characters. And we have our own beauty that might be appealing for some and distasteful for some.
So the matter of like and dislike is so trivial. I like them you hate them, I admire them you despise them. If we can’t accept the fact that we’re different, we’ll never be able to find the peace in our heart.

What is paradise?
An interesting thought of it was stated on wikipedia. Paradise is conceptually a counter-image of the miseries of human civilization, and in paradise there is only peace, prosperity and happiness.
And upon reading that, I was like, oh, paradise is something we believe to exist because we’re tired of the hardship of this life, because we need some reassurance that after living this life as a good person, we’d be able to go to this place where there is no existence of pain and misery.
Well, don’t get me wrong, I do believe in paradise, or heaven, or Jannah as how my religion named it. However, my concept of paradise is that I don’t think I have to wait for my life to end to be able to taste the paradise.
I’ve only lived my life for as little as two decades yet I already know that paradise exist in this world too. The laughter on my family gathering, the tears when my parents said they were proud of me, the unconditional love and endless affections I have from my spouse, or even as simple as a happy outing with my girls.
The only difference between my concept of paradise and the aforementioned concept is the period. While my concept of paradise might be temporary, the other concept is eternal. But still, it still counts as paradise, right?

“sugar and spices and all things nice, that’s what little girls made of.”
And the nursery rhyme is true; as a girl, there’s always something warming up inside us every time we saw cute things or sweet things. Even though we might not be too fond of girly things such as dolls or jewelries and such, we’d still smile if we saw something cute.
As for me, one of the cutest and sweetest thing is the flower. I’ve always feel something warmed up inside me if I happened to saw colorful flowers. And that’s why I’ve had this superficial dream of being a florist.
Ahaha, I wish :))

Roseraie de L’Haÿ

I love roses; they are the flower of symbolism, languages and hidden meanings. Just like the old sayings, roses speak of love silently, in a language known only to the heart.

Roses are beautiful but they are willing to draw blood in their defense. A contradictory beauty.

So, Roseraie de L’Haÿ is a place I’d be sure to visit someday. I couldn’t help but getting excited just by imagining myself dancing in the garden and engulfed in the wondrous fragrance of various roses…
