And then there’s the fog, or the mist — depending on the visibility.
Much in contrary with the fairytale feeling I’ve had with snow, whenever it’s misty or foggy I’ve always feel something rather magical is happening around me. It’s so easy to picture that from behind the mists there’d be some vampires or werewolf or maybe the headless horseman coming out.
Well, scratch it. Maybe it’s not magical what I had in mind, actually it’s  mythical. It must be my fascination with the tales of those mythological beings, especially vampires. From the classic novels Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Le Fanu’s Carmilla to the Japanese manga Hellsing, Vampire Knight and the classic Vampire Hunter D, I’ve always drawn to the stories of vampires and the vampire hunters.
But don’t get me wrong, I don’t like that sparkling vampire series of Twilight. To put it frankly, I despise it. Reading the first volume of Twilight made my head spinning and I’ve had a hard time finishing it; I’ve only finished it for my principle to never read a book halfway. And I do regret it.
Okay, enough said about Twilight. I could spend an entire long post only to write down my hatred toward that series.
Back to the mythical effects of mist and my fascination with mythological beings, I guess I was just being overly imaginative myself. But really, who could resist the temptation of dreaming and imagining things?

This city air is suffocating me. It’s windy, and within the wind I could almost feel all the dirtiness it swept along the way. Be it the dirty pollution or those dirty things the humans in this crowded city seem to be so fond of doing.
Lying, manipulating, deceiving.
Ah, how I wish to just escape to one of those forests and inhale all the fresh air, containing only the kindness of mother nature.
